That includes the house, all of its amenities, and dedicated staff in most cases. With several families or couples traveling together, even the most luxurious villas can be a more economical option than hotels.

Villas of all sizes are scattered across the Casa de Campo resort, so finding the right one is never a problem. Choose your villa with beach front, golf front, river front, or sea view, it is your choice. Let us help you find the right villa for you.

Villas are not time-shares:

They've got nothing to do with destination clubs and you don't have long-term commitments. These homes are luxurious private residences made available by their owners as vacation accommodations. You can rent a villa at any time of the year, for a week or two or even longer—no fixed dates, no blackout periods.

How Do I Rent a Villa?

Renting is a very simple process. Start with a simple request for information. You can call us from the beginning, or use our website. Search our listings and add the villas you like to your favorites. Once you have narrowed it down to one or two villas contact us to find out availability. Tell us your interests and when you plan to be traveling. We take it from there, assigning a villa specialist to guide you through in selecting the best villa based on your needs and travel dates.

But choosing your villa is just the beginning.

When you decide on a property, our guest services will help you customize your vacation experience with extra services tailor-made for you. Have a sailing tour, skeet shooting, tennis games, tee-times at one of the three Pete Dye golf courses, and much more reserved in advance. Even have all your favorite foods stocked in the fridge and a maid, cook and/or butler. That's all part of the complimentary concierge service offered by Jackie Arvelo Properties. (Note: In most cases the maid service is included. In some cases, Chefs are also included. Check the )

When you arrive, we pick you up and take you to your villa. Our guest services will be there to guide you through the villa's unique ins and outs. Our Guest Services representatives are also just a phone call away if you ever need anything.

Finally, Casa de Campo Golf & Villas works with you after you've returned home to settle any outstanding orders of business (ie returning your security deposit). We're also happy to receive photos from your trip and comments on your stay. Knowing that we your stay was relaxing and everything you dreamed of and more is the best part of our jobs.

FAQs

Q: Are there any restrictions regarding children?
A: That depends on the unique villa owner and its location; if the villa is situated on a cliff, for example, or is filled with breakables. Some owners may place age restrictions or ask for liability waivers. Please inform our Guest Services representative or your needs.

Q: What is the cost to rent a villa?
A: There are villas for every budget. We offer secluded villas starting from around $300. per night, to luxury villas for $5000. per night and have everything in between.

Q: Is there a minimum night stay?
A: Yes, depending on the villa.

Q: Are the villas equipped with air-conditioning?
A: That depends on the location and the time of year you are renting the villa. Some villas may have central air while others cool just the bedrooms. Please refer to the appropriate villa page for exact information.

Q: Are there weekly rates?
A: Yes, Some properties offer weekly rates and seasonal rates. Please ask our Guest Services representative.

Q: Is it possible to add additional guests later?
A: Yes, if there is sufficient room. All villas have a maximum guest capacity. As long as you don't exceed this capacity, your guests are welcome.

Q: Is the photo in the listing link the exact villa we would be staying in, along with the views etc.?
A: Yes. All of our villas have their own pictures that represent that exact property, excepting a very small number of resort units that resemble each other.

Q: Can we have a courtesy hold?
A: Yes, we offer courtesy holds of 48 hours with no financial obligations.

Q: Can we hire a cook while we are there?
A: Most of our villas have the option of adding cook services where none are included; costs vary by villa.

Q: Is the pool shared with other guests?
A: The vast majority of our villas have their own private pools. Occasionally, some may be shared with other guests in small villa communities.

Q: How far is the beach? Walking distance?
A: That depends on the villa. The beach may be private and right outside your door, a short drive away, or a short walk. The resort's private beach, Playa Minitas is very close to most of the villas in the resort. Golf carts are the preferred mode of transportation to get around the resort.

Q: Is there any night life? How far away?
A: Casa de Campo boasts some of the best restaurants and bars in the island. These are spread out within the resort at the Hotel, Minitas Beach, La Marina de Chavón, The Tennis Courts and Altos de Chavón. Ask our Guest Services about activities both in Casa de Campo and off-grounds in the city of La Romana.

Q: Who would be our contact for anything we may need while we are there?

Q: Do you have any villa suggestions/recommendations?
A: Please visit our main page to see some of our featured villas. You can also sign up to our monthly newsletter to keep up to date on new properties and hot destinations. Our villa specialists are also always available to make recommendations based on your specific needs.

Q: Are cribs available to rent?
A: Yes. Local agencies can provide baby gear to put in your villa where necessary, and our concierge service is happy to make those arrangements.

Q: Is the price of the villa per person?
A: No, all the villa prices are for the entire villa.

Q: What are some extra expenses?
A: The villa rental does not include food costs, transportation, activities, tax or gratuities.

Q: Is there vacation insurance to cover costs in case of bad weather?
A: No. Refunds are only given if the villa is rendered unlivable or if there are restrictions of entry.

Q: How do I arrange for transportation?
A: We offer our clients a full concierge service, which can assist you in any way possible. Generally, transportation to and from the airport is available and arranged by the Guest Services before you travel.

Q: How are groceries obtained?
A: Villa pantries can be pre-stocked with a list you provide before arrival. Otherwise, there are a grocery store and a gourmet shop nearby at La Marina, or you can go into La Romana for regular groceries.

Q: Do you offer discounted weekly rates?
A: Discounts are at the discretion of the property owner. Contact us for information on weekly rates and the villas that offer them.

Q: How much privacy will we have around the property?
A: Most of our properties are as secluded and private as your own home, often with land or vegetation providing a buffer. Some resort community villas may be attached, but remain private units for you and your guests only. Some villas have fences all around and gates. It really depends on the villa.

Q: Is there satellite TV?
A: No. All villas have cable TV.

Q: Is the maid included? Who cleans the villa?
A: Most of our villas have a maid included in the price listed, and frequency depends on the individual properties; please check the villa pages for all the details.

Q: Do you have any villa suggestions (e.g. where we can play golf)?
A: All the villas have access to the Resort's three Pete dye golf courses. Some houses are located right on the golf courses. Check the listing to see if the villa you are interested in is located in the golf course.

Q: Is there Internet access at our villa?
A: Most of our villas have Internet access. The hotel also has a very convenient business center.

Q: Can you provide references from previous clients?
A: Yes, simply ask one of our villa specialists for references and we can put you in touch with a client who has rented with us before.

Q: Will it be possible to plan our wedding ceremony or renew our wedding vows? Can you help with arrangements?
A: Wedding ceremonies are possible depending on the villa and the location. We can have a local wedding coordinator get in contact with you to organize the details.
